Maidenbower Junior School is a Fairtrade school

We have worked hard over the past year and a half to incorporate Fairtrade into our school life. We have a Fairtrade committee that is made up of children and adults and we are committed to using Fairtrade products in school where ever and whenever we can, such as for ‘Fruity Friday’ and having Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar available in the staff room. Our children learn about Fairtrade issues, especially in Years 4 and 6 where Fairtrade is linked to our topics. Our school is committed to promoting and taking action for Fairtrade and will continue to hold exciting Fairtrade events that are open for everyone in the school to enjoy, as well as anyone from our
local community.
